This study examines the effects of geographical distance between adult offspring and their elderly parents on support provided to in rural China. Monetary non-monetary is closely related physical psychological well-being elderly. Three waves China Health Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS) are used identify a causal effect location outcomes such as financial transfers provision emotion/physical support.
